Horizontal Bar Safety Notice: Based on data supplied by the FIG Safety Symposium, AAI strongly recommends that the horizontal bars and mounting collars be examined for wear on a regular basis, and be replaced every three (3) years, to reduce the possibility of breakage. The newer moves being performed are applying greater impact loads and vibrations on the bar.
